I have been the organist and accompanist at First Congregational Church UCC since 2003 and became Minister of Music in 2014. My accompanying work spans over 45 years. I accompany music students at the University of Northern Colorado and teach organ students at the church. A native of Henderson, Nebraska, I grew up in a church with a rich tradition of sacred music and a majestic pipe organ. My music degree in piano and organ performance is from Bethel College in Kansas. I continued to study piano at Wichita State University, while earning my nursing degree, and worked on a masters degree in piano performance at the University of Colorado. I am a member of the American Guild of Organists and have performed in AGO competitions, master classes and recitals. I also have performed with the Greeley Chamber Orchestra as both a piano and organ soloist.
When I'm not on an organ or piano bench, I enjoy gardening and reading.
